Scottish Register of Tartans · Ref. 12645 · 2019
The Caitlin Galloway tartan, designed in collaboration with Prickly Thistle Scotland and registered with the Scottish Register of Tartans.
A young Scot raised around international waters, Caitlin drew its colours from her years in Hong Kong and Australia: the blues and greens of the ocean and the warm glow of sunshine, woven into her Scottish family legacy.
Tartan is a system: a sett of coloured threads repeated, woven warp over weft in a 2/2 twill. The warp threads are already on the loom. Click the shuttle to send it across and weave her tartan row by row.
Colours on screen are approximate.
